Clean hotel in a beautiful old building so close to the main Boulevard between the train station, all different transport, and the Subway and other public transport. Savoury breakfast at reasonable rate, combined with a very good service. Attentive staff, recently renovated, functional room with beautiful view, a chair or table, for instance. Excellent and nice location not very far from Blaha Lujza Square. Also, almost in front of the metro line.

Yo, this place ain't fancy, but it gets the job done. Room was clean, and I loved the little kitchen area-perfect for whipping up a quick bite after long days roaming around. The supermarket downstairs is a lifesaver! Just had some noise from the street-kinda hard to sleep sometimes. Solid choice for me!

The location was fantastic for our big family, just steps from the metro, made exploring Budapest super easy. My kids enjoyed the cozy courtyard where they could relax, and we appreciated the rooms having cable programming for entertainment.
My wife says that the rooms could use a refresh.

great stay but noise from the street
The location was fantastic, with easy access to public transport and shopping. The staff were friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast offered a wide variety that catered to different tastes, made for a pleasant start to my mornings. Plus, I enjoyed a lovely garden view from my room.
The noise from the street made it tough to get a good night's sleep.

This was just an optimal selection for a weekend stopover in Budapest with good value. The lovely patio outside was a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Just be ready to look past the somewhat hidden entrance and messy smells around the building.

The room I stayed in was bright and airy, making it a cozy retreat after a long day. I loved relaxing in the courtyard with a drink and enjoying the peaceful vibe. The option to have breakfast every morning was great. The only downside was the check-in took a bit longer than expected, but it didn’t ruin my overall experience. 😊

The location of Omega Guesthouse is great, right next to the metro. I found a cozy courtyard where I enjoyed relaxing after a day of sight-seeing. The room had a nice view, bright and airy, but still felt basic and austere-a simple desk and a few furnishings. Cleanliness was on point. My room was tidied daily, though I wished the standard could be a bit higher. The air conditioning worked well, a relief during the warm weather. Unfortunately, I encountered some issues with the staff communication. There were mixed messages about parking arrangements, and the front desk was hit or miss. At times, they seemed indifferent to my questions, a bit frustrating. Noise was another concern. I could hear street sounds clearly. Breakfast options seemed limited, and though the food tasted decent, I'd hoped for more variety. Despite these drawbacks, the guesthouse provided a solid budget option for the area.

Rooms were clean, but thin walls made for a noisy night.

The accommodation offers a unique architectural style with high ceilings and clean, well-maintained rooms. The access to kitchen facilities allows for some self-catering was good.
Navigating the multiple locked doors to access the guesthouse can feel a bit convoluted and uninviting, especially when first trying to find the entrance next to a smelly kebab shop. Thin walls let in a lot of noise from both neighboring rooms and the bustling street, which might disrupt your sleep, particularly in rooms facing the road. The air conditioning isn't free, and guests may find themselves surprised by the extra charges associated with it.
